Associate Support and Control Engineer

The role will be to monitor and provide technical support for the existing software applications and realise automation opportunities. You will be working closely with our global operations team and will have exposure to all aspects of the value chain within an investment management organisation.

The role will involve providing application support to existing software applications as well as working with the business users to resolve incidents.

You will be part of the Support & Control Centre, which is part of the Technology & Support department. The Support & Control Centre is a global team, with team members located in Singapore, Oslo and New York.   

This position is located in Singapore


  • Providing  1st and 2nd level application support for various applications
  • Executing and monitoring data loads using BMC Control-M, Informatica PowerCenter,  Enterprise scheduler and ETL tools
  • Monitoring support queues and ensuring tickets are dealt with accordingly
  • Supporting of batch job process scheduled across all time-zones
  • Maintaining  the applications hosted in the current infrastructure set up
  • Take  a role in the automation of the current application support processes

Main Qualifications:

  • Graduates  or 1-2 years’ experience working in similar roles
  • Proactive and self-driven work style, and a good team player
  • Experience from scripting and automation would be an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent  communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken  English

The support team works a rotational shift pattern to provide on-site cover, partnering with colleagues around the globe in a follow-the-sun model. Candidates should be flexible and able to work on shift rotations and will be required to perform occasional out-of-hours / weekend work
