HR Advisor – Norges Bank Real Estate Management

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is organised as a separate division within Norges Bank Investment Management and is managing the unlisted real estate portfolio of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG).

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position as HR Advisor in the HR team. The HR team is responsible for recruiting, training and development, personnel administration and office management.

Your role will be to facilitate and support our organisation with focus on global benefits, salary payments and tax matters.

The position is located in Oslo and will report to the Head of Human Resources. Some travel will be required.

This will be a temporary position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Preferable start date is as soon as possible. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure valid and correct input to the local payroll providers across all locations
  • Process payroll data towards the different accounting teams
  • Provide support and advice to employees and managers on salary payment and tax matters
  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure the administrative support systems are updated according to organisational changes
  • Coordinate HR processes related to on-boarding, international mobility and absence

Main Qualifications:

  • Preferably Master’s degree with strong academic records
  • 3-5  years’ relevant experience working with global benefits, salary payments and/or tax
  • Experience within international payroll is considered an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Norwegian labour law and benefits plans (pension and insurance)
  • Service minded and proactive
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with working proficiency in written and spoken English
