HR Senior Advisor – Norges Bank Real Estate Management

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is organised as a separate division within Norges Bank Investment Management and is managing the unlisted real estate portfolio of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG).

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position as HR Senior Advisor, in the HR team. The HR team is responsible for recruiting, training and development, personnel administration and office management.

Your role will be to provide support and guidance across the full range of compensation and benefits. You will be responsible for the analysis and trend reports to support the recommendations on benefits and salary reviews. You will also conduct position mapping, salary benchmark towards external markets and performance pay calculations, as well as monitoring standards and guidelines ensuring compliance to market regulations. You will work across all business areas in the organisation. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an international organisation and influence the development of HR area.

The position is located in Oslo and will report to Head of HR in Norges Bank Real Estate Management.  Some travel will be required.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct global salary and benefits surveys with external providers
  • Perform annual and ad hoc benchmark analysis
  • Run annual salary review and performance pay calculation processes
  • Provide advice and guidance on the compensation systems including long term incentive plans
  • Maintain and develop internal position mapping grid
  • Provide advice and guidance to tax in cooperation with external service provider
  • Support the payroll processes as appropriate

Main Qualifications:

  • Preferably Master’s degree with strong academic records
  • 5-8 years’ relevant experience working with compensation and benefits systems, preferably from an international organisation
  • Experience from the real estate or financial industry will be considered an advantage
  • Service minded and proactive

  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with working proficiency in written and spoken English
